Determine If You Need a Therapeutic Use Exemption TUE FAQs
1. Research your medication on Global DRO and note the status, route, and WADA classification.
2. Determine your athlete category.
3. Consult the table below to determine the requirements for that substance based on your competition level.

Why Not

 
A TUE is need prior to using any prohibited substance except for:
  1. Diuretics and masking agents
  2. Beta-2 agonists
  3. Insulin (If you have been diagnosed with insulin-dependent diabetes.)
