2010 Prohibited List
Read about the Prohibited List that takes effect January 1, 2010.
Selection Criteria
Doping Control Officers must meet the following criteria to receive certification:
  1. Minimum age of 18-years
  2. Submit to and pass a background investigation
  3. Participate in an individual or small-group training session for initial certification
  4. Participate in re-certification conferences
  5. Submit to and pass written and practical skills examinations
  6. Demonstrate potential to meet or exceed the established proficiency levels
  7. Demonstrate ability to follow instructions
  8. Demonstrate ability to work under demanding conditions
  9. Demonstrate ability to quickly and effectively solve problems
  10. Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively
  11. Ability to act in a respectful and professional manner
  12. Ability to maintain confidential information
  13. Wear appropriate clothing
  14. Make USADA aware of any possible conflicts of interest, including involvement in the administration of any sport for which testing is being conducted, or in the personal affairs of or relation to any Athlete that may undergo doping control
  15. Have no affiliation with sample collection organizations outside of USADA
